Which T-shirt Fabric is the Best for You?

Choosing the right fabric for a t-shirt is always an uphill task especially when it comes for screen printing and creating a design. At Custom Printwear we always prefer that your custom t-shirt should feel as good as they look. That’s why we always take extra time to explain the different types of fabric you can choose from

Cotton

Cotton is undoubtedly the most amazing fabric for t-shirts as it breathes and made it from a soft, fluffy staple fiber but does wrinkle. It is ideal for casual and everyday wear. It is also very affordable as it is the least expensive for T-shirts.

Linen
Linen isn’t quite as common a material used for t-shirts, and can more commonly be found in jackets and light outer layers. This fabric tends to wrinkle easily. Linen is a very lightweight material and tends to dry faster than cotton, so it’s a good choice in hot and humid weather.

Polyester

Polyester is a good choice for those looking for sports apparel. There are several benefits of polyester such as quick drying, strength, doesn’t wrinkle easily, breathable. After several washes a polyester t-shirt will maintain its shape and resist shrinking or stretching, making it an excellent material for athletic wear.

Rayon

Fabric rayon is a fiber that is made from cellulose fiber. It is considered a semi-synthetic material and has many different grades that differentiate it from rayon vs cotton. One of the most common types of rayon is viscose rayon, which has a lot in common with cotton. It’s breathable, moisture-absorbent, and a popular choice for casual and athletic wear.

Poly/Cotton Blend

Poly/Cotton is a blend of cotton and polyester which makes fiber breathable yet soft shirt. It takes the wrinkle resistance of cotton and the strength of polyester all mixed into one making and is great for everyday use with its soft feel and great shape. Poly/Cotton blends also tend to hold their shape well compared to other fabrics.

Whatever design or personalisation you want on your t-shirt place and order with us here and we’ll do the hard work for you.

I love cotton dresses for night wear. They are super comfortable, and helps your skin breathe. I also love woolen ones when it’s too cold teezip
